Early at 08:00 in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to start our incredible adventure, in our mobility we go through a route full of natural and cultural beauty to reach the archaeological site of Quillarumiyoc which was a temple dedicated to the moon and fertility, there you can see the magnificent master sculpture in the form of a crescent moon worked in a single giant rock.
Then we continue our journey seeing beautiful panoramic views of mountains, fauna and flora, on the way we will notice a change from cold weather to a temperate one by Limatambo, then we will arrive at the archaeological site of Tarawasi which was a tambo, a resting place for the Inca Pilgrims, you can also see the style of inlaid rocks used in its walls, has polygonal shaped stone walls and show the perfect architecture of the Incas, where we will have full explanations about the history of these places by our guide.
We continue our journey until we reach the Huayronca bridge, and from there we will continue along an unpaved road making some stops to take pictures of the snowy Salkantay and Limatambo valley. At about 12:00 p.m. we will arrive to the community of Chonta where we will have lunch with magnificent views of the snowy Salkantay.
In this community we will begin a 45 minute walk to reach the viewpoint of the Canyon of the Condor located at 3,340 meters above sea level. Here we will wait for the condors to return from their daily activities, and we will have the opportunity to observe the impressive Andean condors in full flight and in their natural habitat, they will pass very close to us and you can take many pictures. After this incredible experience we return to the community of Chonta walking and then to the district of Mollepata in our mobility, for dinner and overnight at the designated hotel.
